Q: Do we have volunteers to trim bushes for homeowners who can’t because of handicap issues.
A: No, the Board of Directors does not have volunteers. If you know of anyone who needs help, please feel free to volunteer to help them as a good neighbor.
Q: If a house is not ready for painting, will they skip a house?
A: No. If a house needs trim or debris moved, we will have our maintenance staff clean up a house to get it ready for painting and bill the homeowner.
Q: What do we need to remove from the house walls?
A: Decorations need to be removed. The painters will cover lights, doorbells, house numbers, etc. Q: Will hurricane shutters be painted?
A: No, hurricane shutters will not be painted. However, hurricane shutters need to be open so the paint can be applied around the window.
Q: Will the inside of screened in lanai be painted?
A: Yes, the lanai needs to be unlocked and everything needs to be covered and moved away from the walls.
Q: When will the painting start?
A: The painting will start on October 2, 2023. Lot 1 will be the first to be painted, but they will paint streets from there regardless of lot numbers.
Q: When will Smart Coat start fixing facia boards?A: Smart Coat will be fixing facia boards this week (9/11/2023) if you have already contracted with them.Q: Will there be a schedule sent out to homeowners?
A: No. The painting will begin on October 2, 2023, depending on the weather. You will know when your house will be painted when you see the big trucks on your street.
Q: When will driveways be painted?
A: Driveways will be painted after all the houses have been painted. They will paint one side of the street so residents can park on the opposite side of the street or in the clubhouse or back parking lots. The painting company suggests that you do not drive on your driveway for 2 to 3 days.
Q: Will the houses be painted in sequence by lot numbers?
A: No, houses will be painted block by block
Q: Should I move our car out of the driveway while my house is being painted?
A: Yes. The painting company will be parking in front of your driveway while they paint your house so you may not be able to go out. Also, they will be spraying paint on the houses, so you may not want house paint on your car.
Q: What happens if you don’t want your garage door painted.
A: Obtain a sign from the office stating, “Do not paint this door”. Tape it to your door so the painters will see it.
Suggestion: Need volunteers to inspect the painting for a neighborhood. If you would like to volunteer to inspect the painting on your street or neighborhood, please let the office know.
We would really appreciate help with this major painting project.
If you are intending to use Smart Coat Painting to repair or replace your fascia board, you must call their office and schedule it with them BEFORE September 14, 2023.
TO THE HOMEOWNERS WHO CONTRACTED WITH SMART COAT FOR FASCIA REPAIR ONLY: Fascia repair/replace via Smart Coat will begin this week. If you have contracted with them privately, you are on their list. There is no schedule, so please do not call their office for that. Thank you!

NOTE: ALL PERSONAL PROPERTY MUST BE MOVED OFF THE 1 ST FLOOR PATIOS IN ORDER TO ALLOW PAINTERS ACCESS TO PAINT THEM.
2.) WINDOWS MUST BE CLOSED DURING THE PRESSURE CLEANING AND A ROLLED-UP TOWEL MUST BE PLACED ON THE WINDOWSILL DURING THE PRESSURE CLEANING OF THE BUILDING.
3.) DOORS MUST BE CLOSED DURING THE PRESSURE CLEANING AND A
ROLLED-UP TOWEL MUST BE PLACED UNDERNEATH THE DOOR DURING THE PRESSURE CLEANING OF THE BUILDING.
NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE PAINTERS. ANY INQUIRIES MUST BE COMMUNICATED THROUGH YOUR COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION.

ALL HOMEOWNERS have one month to prepare the outside of their homes for painting. That includes taking down any decorations tacked to the house, pulling or cutting away any vines growing on the house, cutting away any trees, branches , leaves growing along the house, cutting away to 1 1/2 feet any shrubs growing around the house. This is the responsibility of each homeowner personally.
